Who We Are
Greenwood UMC believes the Bible is the living word of our God, transforming us daily into followers of Jesus, who we claim as Savior and Lord.
We invite you to come and find out more about what following a living God is about as we listen at the feet of our Lord who showed us through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension the way to the kingdom of God.
At Greenwood we teach core Christian beliefs and values in the United Methodist Church website at umc.org.
United Methodist are the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. In the Winchester area we are the largest denomination, with nearly 33% of the population being connected the United Methodist Church among approximately 30 churches.
